The Rev. George A. Milligan, 89, of 835 Sunny Lane, Gap, formerly of Caln Township, died of natural causes Wednesday at Pennbroke Nursing Center in West Chester.
He was the husband of the late Florence E. Swayne Milligan.
After retiring in 1976 from the Coatesville Plate Washer Co., he and his wife traveled the country preaching.
A graduate of Philadelphia College of the Bible and the Conversion Center of Havertown, he held a doctorate in divinity.
Born in Glenmoore, he was the son of the late Sherman and Rachael Milligan.
He was a member of Grace Independent Church of Coatesville.
Surviving are a daughter, Anna L., wife of James E. Fuller of Gap; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
