SHORTLIDGE, JOHN HENRY, 32, of Brooksville, formerly of Port Richey, died Monday (Aug. 3, 1998) at Tampa General Hospital. Born in Red Bank, N.J., he moved to Brooksville two years ago from Port Richey. He was a journeyman printer for New Ink of America, Ocala. He was Protestant. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia; a daughter, Amanda Jo, South River, N.J.; two stepdaughters, April and Angie, both of Brooksville; his mother, Irene A. Shortlidge, New Port Richey; a brother, Arthur M., Old Bridge, N.J.; two sisters, Joyce L. Covell, New Port Richey, and Trudy M. Benson, Port Richey; and eight nieces and nephews. Thomas B. Dobies Funeral Home, Bartelt Road Chapel, Holiday.
