Notes for Thomas Atwood HOOPES
Thomas A. Hoopes, 60, of 107 Cross Ave, Wilmington, died Sunday in The Memorial Hospital, Wilmington.
Mr. Hoopes was a proofreader for the Wilmington News Journal Co.
He was born in Media and moved to the Wilmington area 12 years ago.
He was formerly employed by the Delaware County Daily Times, Chester.
He was a member of Asbury Methodist Church, Wilmington Manor.
He is survived by his widow Esther, three sons, Thomas A. Jr, Richard Lee and Norman K, and a daughter, Doris Anne, at home.
Services will be at 11am, Wednesday, at the Spicer Mullikin Funeral Home, DuPont Parkway and East Van Buren Ave, Wilmington.
Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park, Wilmington.
Calling hours will be after 7pm, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
