Charles D. Parrish, 84, a retired supervisor for Abbotts Dairies, died Saturday. He lived in East Earl, Lancaster County.
Born in Kennett Square, Mr. Parrish lived in Broomall and Newtown Square most of his life.
He retired in 1962 as a supervisor with Abbotts Dairies, where he had worked for 27 years.
He had been active with the Newtown Square Baptist Church and more recently with the Evangelical United Methodist Church in New Holland, Pa.
He was a member of the Kennett Square Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons.
Survivors: his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Margaret Sanders; a son, Richard; a brother; a sister; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Services: Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Groff's Funeral Home, New Holland. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in New Garden Friends Meeting House in New Garden, Chester County.
