Notes for Frank William CLOUD

Frank W. Cloud 89 died Thursday Nov. 7 2002 in ManorCare Health Services in Montgomeryville where he recently resided. He was the husband of Helen (Roesch) Heath Cloud and they had observed their 32nd wedding anniversary in June. He lived in Hatfield Twp. since 1939. Born in Kennett Square he was a son of the late Pusey and Ida (Hoopes) Cloud. He graduated from Unionville High School and attended Georgia Institute of Technology. An ensign with the U.S. Navy during WW II he served as a fighter pilot. He was employed as a flight instructor in Lancaster for the U.S. Navy for a number of years.
Mr. Cloud was employed by the former Link Belt now FMC Corp. in Colmar. He retired as an "A" inspector in 1979 after 25 years of service.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lansdale where he served as a greeter and usher.
Mr. Cloud was an avid golfer.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters Barbara Lee Randall and her husband Lee of Trumbauersville and Lorraine Kemmerer of Bala Cynwyd; and a grandson John C. Kemmerer III. He is also survived by five brothers and two sisters Rachel Lucas of West Chester Margaret Elvin Martin Cloud and his wife Betty and Philip Cloud and his wife Barbara all of Kennett Square Robert Cloud and his wife Mary of Lake Placid FL Fred Cloud and his wife Ginny of West Chester and Bruce Cloud and his wife Mary Elizabeth of Waynesboro VA.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service Wednesday Nov. 13 at 11 AM in the chapel of Trinity Lutheran Church 1000 W. Main St. Lansdale PA 19446 where friends may call after 10 AM. Interment will be private. Should friends desire contributions in his memory may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund address above. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home in Lansdale.
