Walter George Crosson, 73, of Taylorville, IL died at 6:06 pm Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Taylorville Care Center.
He was born July 23, 1939 in Union City, Pennsylvania, the son of Oscar Jesse and Margaret Elizabeth Hickman Crosson.& On February 25, 2004 he married Irene Crawley in Okeechobee, Florida.& Mr. Crosson was an Army veteran of the early Vietnam War, a truck driver, and a member of the Moose Lodge #1416 and the American Legion Post 79.
Surviving are his wife Irene Crosson of Taylorville; children: Sharon Stewart and husband Ken of Phoenix, AZ, Diana Key and husband Earl of Altamont, Peggy Davis of Taylorville, James Hall and wife Karen of Jefferson, GA, Angelia Hall-Pursel of Denver, CO, and Jared Hall and wife Susan of Taylorville.& There are 16 Grandchildren. &
Mr. Crosson was preceded in death by his parents, and two daughters: Belinda Judd and Particia Hillman.
