Notes for Teckla Helena BLOCKSOM
Teckla Helena Blocksom Yarnall of Section, Ala., formerly of Kennett Square Teckla Helena Blocksom Yarnall, died on January 11, 2012 at Highlands Hospital in Scottsboro, Ala. She was born in Wildwood, N.J. in 1928, the daughter of the late Howard Basil Blocksom and Cecelia A. Johnson Blocksom. Teckla was the wife of Warren R. Yarnall, who died June 16, 2010. They shared 63 years of marriage together, living in Kennett Square until they retired to Section, Ala. in 2001. Teckla was the loving mother of seven children, Karen Y. Pannell (Terry Sauerbrey) of Section, Ala., Warren, Jr. (Mercedes) of Ariz., David (Connie) of Avondale, William (Karen) of Oxford, Howard (Rosalind) of Cochranville, Richard (Piper) of Lawrenceville, Ga. and Teckla Logan, also of Section, Ala. There are 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Dianna Robertson and three brothers, Howard, Jr., William and Fletcher Blocksom. A memorial service for both Teckla and Warren will be held at a later date in Kennett Square.
