Notes for Bonnie Jo TAYLOR

Battey, BONNIE JO (TAYLOR). Born March 5, 1928 in Oklahoma City and, after a lengthy illness, peacefully passed into God's Glory on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2003, at the age of 75. Loving and devoted wife and mother, Bonnie is survived by her husband of 56 years, Thomas C. Battey, Sr. of Lewisville, TX; daughter, Judith Y. Paulos and husband Kermit of Arlington, VA; Sons, Thomas C. Battey, Jr. of Lewisville, TX; John L. Battey and wife Della of Roanoke, TX; David E. Battey of Austin, TX; Grandchildren Thomas C., III and Athena; Brother Edwin K. Taylor and wife Jackie of Guthrie, OK; Sister Peggy Robinson and husband Gerald of Boerne, TX; Nephews and Nieces Robert Anderson, Ralph Anderson, Nancy French, Richard Anderson, Dawn Korpi, Cindy Westmark, Chris Robinson, Shelli Mosteller, Aisha Hashmi and Josh Taylor. Bonnie was a lifetime member of the Central High School Alumni Association of Oklahoma City where she graduated in 1946. She accompanied her husband in travels to many parts of the globe and lived for several years in Iran and Saudi Arabia. She leaves many friends in England, South and Central America, Europe and around the world. A private memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her name to a favorite charity or to the National Museum of the American Indian, Smithsonian Institution, P.O. Box 96836, Washington, DC 20090-6836.
