Notes for Elizabeth Lewis WRIGHT

Elizabeth Lewis Wright, 93, a member of a socially prominent family and a volunteer worker in civic causes, died Jan. 10 at Casa Dorinda in Montecito, Calif. A former resident of Birchrunville and Whiteford in Chester County, she lived in Santa Barbara.
Educated in schools here and in New York City, she was a graduate of the old Pennsylvania School of Horticulture for Women in Ambler. She was a member of the Conestoga Garden Club and was involved in a number of horticultural societies.
She was a member of the Cosmopolitan Club and worked as a Grey Lady at the Veterans Hospital in Phoenixville during World War II.
Surviving are three sons, George I. Jr., Peter and Ernest; 13 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
