Mr. Griscom was educated in the public schools and then devoted himself to electrical and mechanical engineering. He held a responsible position at the building of the Panama Canal and the Mexican Central RaUroad. He installed many power plants in Canada, United States, Mexico and Panama. From
1915 until his 83rd year he spent much time in designing centrifugal machines.
