David B. Wickersham - Mr. David B. Wickersham, age 53 of Hockessin, DE died on Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Since 1985, Mr. Wickersham had been a Senior Funeral Director with Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes in New Castle, Newark, and Delaware City, DE. A 1966 graduate of William Penn High School, he attended the University of Delaware and received his funeral service degree from the American Academy-McAllister Institute in New York City. He was a member of the Mu Sigma Alpha Honor Fraternity. Mr. Wickesham was a member and past president of the Delaware State Funeral Directors Association and was a member of the National Funeral Directors Association. Mr. Wickersham was a member of Christiana Lodge #35, AF&AM, and was a past president of the Kiawanis Club of Red Clay Valley. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Suzanne Monroe Wickersham 2 children, David B. Wickersham II and Lisa L. Sutton, both of Newark, DE father, Charles T. Wickersham, Sr. of New Castle, DE brother, Charles T. Wickersham, Jr. of New Castle, DE 2 sisters, Debra J. Redding of Elkton, MD and Beverly A. Otto of New Castle, DE and 5 grandchildren, Anthony M. Wickersham, David J. Sutton, Daniel J. Sutton, Dustin J. Sutton, and Jeffrey S. Wilson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bettyjean M. Wickersham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Saturday, April 21 at St. Elizabeth's R.C. Church, Cedar & Clayton Sts., Wilmington, DE. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Pkwy., Minquadale, New Castle, DE. Friends may call after 6 pm Friday, April 20 at the SPICER-MULLIKIN FUNERAL HOME, 1000 N. DuPont Pkwy., Wilm-ington Manor, New Castle, DE. There will be a Masonic service at 6:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 1601
