Virginia 'Ginny' Passmore Pegg Hoskins of Hickory, N.C. Virginia "Ginny" Passmore Pegg Hoskins, 89, died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at Palliative CareCenter and Hospice of Catawba Valley. Born September 8, 1922 in Delaware County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Daniel Passmore and Elizabeth Gravel Passmore. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by; her brothers, George Passmore, Harry Passmore, Walter Passmore, Howard Passmore and Jones Passmore; sisters, Carolyn Garney, Anna Townsend, Edna Mabus and Betty Wilcox. She is survived by her sons, Robert Pegg of Hickory and Thomas F. Pegg and wife Ann of Monroeville, Pa.; grandchildren, Joshua and Jolie Pegg, Jacob and Renee Pegg, Zachary and Sara Beth Pegg, Nicholas Pegg and Benjamin Pegg; and great grandchildren, Ella Pegg and Maylee Pegg. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2012 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory, N.C., with Rev. Jerry Hurley officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Broomall, Pa. at a later date.
