Notes for George Griffith MALIN

George G. Malin, 84, of Malvern, RD 2, a long time member of the East Whiteland School Board, died at home yesterday after a long illness. He was the husband of Grace Haldeman Malin.

Mr. Malin was born in the house he lived in at the time of his death, son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Griffith Malin. He was a farmer, a member of the First Baptist Church of Malvern and a deacon of the church. He retired 20 years ago from the East Whiteland School Board on which he had served for thre decades. Mr. Malin also donated the land on which the Frazer Mennonite Church was built.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters; Dorothy, wife of Arthur Smoker, of the Malvern address; Cathrine (sic), wife of Franklin Huntsberger of Concord, Tenn.; two sons, George G. Jr. of Poconoke City, Md, and the Rev. C. Ralph, at home; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at Frazer Mennonite Cemetery, East Whiteland.
