Myrtle E. Hanby Twaddell, 94, died Nov. 28 at Hillside Center in Wilmington, Del.
Born and raised in Wilmington, Mrs. Twaddell was a resident of that city for most of her life.
She was a resident of the Boothwyn section of Upper Chichester for a time, but made her home for the last 20 years with her daughter in Wilmington.
Mrs. Twaddell was a longtime member of Siloam United Methodist Church and was a member of Brandywine Senior Center in Claymont, Del.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Mrs. Twaddell was the mother of the late Ronald A. Twaddell, the daughter of the late Elmer and Minnie Hanby, and the sister of the late Clarence Hanby, Lynford Hanby and Rena Nathan.
Survivors: Daughter, Janet M. Twaddell of Wilmington, son, Gilbert E. Twaddell of Earlsville, Md.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, Joseph A. Ward Funeral Home Inc., 1459 Market St., Linwood.
Visitation: 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial: Siloam United Methodist Cemetery, Boothwyn.
