Notes for Ruth Kathryn WINDLE

Ruth Kathryn Windle Gibson, 99, of Lynchburg, Va., formerly of Parkesburg, died on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008, in Lynchburg, Va.
She was the beloved wife of Frederick David Gibson, who died in 1996.
Born in Chester County, she was the daughter of Gertrude and Edward Lewis Windle.
Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
She was a member of the Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church and the Chester County Historical Society, and she volunteered for the Chester County Blind Association.
Family and friends are invited to attend memorial services on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. at Upper Octorara Presbyterian Church, 1121 Octorara Trail, Parkesburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Chester County Blind Association, 71 S. First Ave., Coatesville, PA 19320.
Arrangements are being handled by the Wilde Funeral Home, Parkesburg.
