Notes for Marion Kenny CROTHERS
MARION CROTHERS KERR, 66, of Swarthmore, died yesterday at Arlington Hospital in Arlington, Va., while visting her twin sister, Elizabeth Crothers Hawthorne.
Born in Wallingford, Mrs. Kerr graduated from Swarthmore High School. She was employed as a saleswoman at Strawbridge & Clothier for 20 years before retiring in 1988.
She had previously worked as a nurse's aide at Hahnemann University Hospital, taught at Rose Valley School and run the Friends Nursery School in Swarthmore.
Surviving are a son, R. Graham; a daughter, Hollingsworth "Holly" Holland; two grandchildren; her mother, Elizabeth Lukens Crothers; a brother, and her twin sister.
