Joseph M. Harris, 83, 10 Windjammer Point, Merritt Island, died Tuesday. Born in Reading, Pa., he moved to Merritt Island from Tiverton, R.I., in 1980. He was a retired vice president of L. Frank Markel Co., Norristown, Pa., and an Episcopalian. Survivors: wife, Frances; son, Joseph M. Jr., Indian Harbour Beach; daughters, Frances Bernays, Topsfield, Mass., Elizabeth. H., Highland Springs, Va.; brother, George B. Jr., Gladwyne, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
