Thomas H. B. Jacobs was a mining engineer in Del. Co. and Virginia for a number of years. Later he with the Reading Railroad as an appraisal expert He was a former president of the Philadelphia Joint Stock Land Bank and also a vestryman of St. Paul's church where he is buried. He was active in independent politics.
