Obituary – Public Spirit, May 25, 1926
Adelaide, widow of Charles Search, aged 89, died in Philadelphia in May 20. She was the daughter of Abner and Mary Lukens who lived at one time in Warminster township and later in the city. Adelaide first married Peirce Vanpelt, who kept the hardware store at Hatboro and resided on Byberry avenue. After his death she married Charles Search, a farmer near Richboro. No heirs survive nearer than nephews and nieces. Interment was at Hatboro Cemetery on Monday, May 24.
Note: Her first husband was Peirce Vanpelt
