MILDRED SINKLER, 89, of Devon, PA. Wife of the late Edward T. Stuart, Jr.; mother of the late Edward T. Stuart, III, died on November 7, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Mildred Pearce Sinkler, and the late Francis Wharton Sinkler. She is survived by her sister Ella Sinkler Jackson, her daughter Mildred Stuart West, and her four grandchildren, George S. West, Jr., Nicholas Stuart West, Alexander Sinkler West, and Christine West Dembinski; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Stuart was an active volunteer in the St. David's Church, the Four Counties Garden Club, the Neighborhood Gardens Assn., and the Women's Exchange in Wayne. She vacationed at the family camp "Abenaki", in Mt. Desert, Maine, and at "Patience Reward Farm", in Chestertown, Md. She was an avid tennis player, gardener, and talented pianist. She was an involved grandmother and great-grandmother to her extensive family and had an ability to bring grace and a smile to any occasion. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who came to know her. Memorial Service will be held on Nov. 12 at 12:30 P.M. at St. David's Episcopal Church, Wayne, PA.
