Notes for John Price Crozer LUDLOW
LUDLOW JOHN PRICE CROZER "CRO", beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Griffith), on Oct. 25, 2007. He will be especially remembered by family and friends for his wonderful musical gift. Cro graduated from Lower Merion and University of Pennsylvania. He served in WWII (Navy) and notably survived the Glenn Miller plane when he was taken off because his travel mate failed to arrive. Since 1998 Cro resided at Freedom Village in West Brandywine, PA where he delighted the residents and staff with his musical talents on both the bass and piano. Playing with a trio of musicians (Bill Sims and the late Dr. Len Kravitz), on Wednesday and Friday afternoons, the atrium at "Freedom" was filled with wonderful, lively music. Cro will be remembered so lovingly and fondly by all who were blessed to make his acquaintance in any way. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 11 A.M., at Gulph United Church of Christ, 100 Matson Ford Rd., Gulph Mills, PA 19428, 610-525-6593.
