gene.data per A C MYERS;
Simon & his family came from Ireland in about 1712 and settled in New Castle co,DE; received at Newark MM,DE on 4 6M 1716 on certificate from Moate Mtg, County of West Meath, Ireland; in 1717 he erected a fine stone house, barn, & outbuildings on his Plantation in DE; he is said by tradition to have been murdered by a servant in his own barn for the gold he always carried on his person.
