Notes for Edward CLAYTON

Edward Clayton of West Bradford. June 20, 1760. August 9, 1760. Provides for wife Ann. To son John 5 shillings beings already advanced. To son Joshua 5 shillings being already advanced. To daughters Elizabeth Strode and Hannah Green 5 shilling each being already advanced. To 3 youngest daughters Sarah, Ann and Susanna Clayton all remainder of my land lying on the northeast side of the road leading down to Evan Jones containing about 18 acres to be equally divided. To son William all remainder of plantation in West Bradford containing about 97 acres except 1/4 part of all mines on Mattaline Ores which son William shall dig on said premises which 1/4 part I give to my grandson Edward, son of John Clayton. Also to son William all land devised to wife Ann during life, at her decease paying to his 3 sisters Sarah, Ann, and Susanna £10 each. Executor: Son William.
