Thomas Powell, Sr. of Upper Providence. Gentleman. December 4, 1714. December 24, 1714. A.15. To the use of the church in Chester 4 lotts in James St. over against the church. To wife Anna 1/2 of estate real and personal during life. To my 3 sons, John, Joseph and Thomas 1 shilling each. to son John Powell's children there being 4 sons of them viz Joseph, John, Thomas and Benjamin Ł10 each and to his 2 daughters Mary and Margaret Ł5 each. To son Thomas after wife deceases the other 1/2 of estate real and personal. Executors: wife Anna and son John. Witnesses: John Humphreys, Thomas Weston, Joseph Elly.
