Jeffrey Bentley, brother of Sarah and Mary, held Anabaptist meetings in his house after his father's death. His father, John, had held the meetings in his home. Members included William Collet, Margaret Collet, Elenor Bently, Robert Chalfont (husband of Mary Bentley). A cemetery connected with the church was situated on the farm of George Young, near the railroad.
