Notes for Elisha PRICE

Elisha Price (1734-98), in 1775, was a member of the Committee of Correspondence. He represented Chester County in the convention at Carpenter's Hall, 1776, after each deputy had signed their “willingness to concur in a vote of the Congress declaring the United Colonies free and independent.” He was born in New Castle, Del.; died in Chester, Pa.
