Notes for John TALLEY

He was the first Talley who entered the ministry in America. Member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, of which he was a member and minster for over 52 years. He was ordained a Deacon in 1821 and an Elder in 1823.
Died at the home of his son J. Henderson Talley, Esq. in East Goshen Township, Chester Co., Pa.
