Notes for Sarah ELDRIDGE

will of. wife, Sarah. Son, Jacob, all my lands within the Province of West New Jersey or elsewhere, also two-thirds of personal estate; but if he dies before 23, "which will be the tenth of April, or thereabout, 1739," without lawful issue, then my brother, Thomas Spicer, shall hold my land in the County of Gloucester, he to have 1/2 of the benefit of the fishery on my plantation in Gloucester County, during life, and same to revert to my son Jacob, in case he survives him. Executors--wife, Sarah, and son, Jacob. Witnesses--Jacob Spicer, William Coats, Joshuay Grainger, Joseph Sleigh. Affirmed 9 April, 1742.
