George E. Earnshaw Jr., 81, of Overcreek Farm, East Bradford, died Jan. 17 in Chester County Hospital, West Chester, after a brief illness.
He was born in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia in 1905. He attended William Penn Charter School and Episcopal Academy of Philadelphia.
Mr. Earnshaw was a resident of East Bradford most of his life, where he raised and bred palomino and quarter horses.
Mr. Earnshaw served as deputy constable of East Bradford Township in the early 1960s. He was a former member of the Squires and Constables Association of Chester County, and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks No. 853 of West Chester.
He is survived by a daughter, Jeannine Adams; a son, George E. 3d; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held Wednesday in Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer.
