Andrew Robeson, Sr., married Mary Spencer, (came from Scotland; appears first in records of New Jersey as one of sixty Englishmen who were one Swedish Colony of Gustavus Adolphus in l638). Member of Council of William Penn for Government of Philadelphia. In Council under Governor Fletcher Chief Justice of Pennsylvania l693-9; Graduate of Oxford; married Mary Spencer, said to have been of Swedish descent.
