Aaron Hall, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the son of Thomas and Hannah (Hibberd) Hall. All were Quakers who belonged to the Darby Meeting in Chester Co., PA. Aaron Hall was born on 10-01-1737 and was married to Hannah Hallowell on 2 April 1767. He removed with his family to Frederick County, Virginia, around the year 1779 where he purchased land near to where his brother James and his sisters Rachel Longacre (m. Other surnames mentioned in the estate include May (frequently mentioned), Babe, White, McKinnon, Israel, Phillips, Still, Woods, Walker, Cochran, McGill, Shannon, Pettigrew, and McCleery. Known children include Leah Hall, born 3 November 1782, died 26 June 1842, who married Richard Waits (Waites). Other probable children include Esther (Ester) Hall who married John Brown and Thomas Hall, born 10 December 1779, who married Sarah Strosnider.
