Notes for Nathan SHOEMAKER

He received his MD degree in 1810 from the University of Pennsylvania and created a large practice in Philadelphia at 816 Chestnut Street. Later in life he moved to a house he owned at 830 Arch Street, in which he remained until his death. In 1835 he was an acknowledged minister, and thereafter a frequent speaker of much ability.
