Notes for Esther SHARPLES

Esther (Sharpless) Garrett was appointed assistant clerk of women's meeting 6/29/1795, released 9/22/1797, appointed 6/24/1799 to transcribe the minutes and again to assistant clerk 1803. Upon her marriage, removed to Goshen meeting, was appointed clerk 3/12/1814, appointed elder 11/2/1814. Jehu was also active at Goshen.
