Notes for William LEVIS
William Levis of Kennett. 2/9/1747. May 27, 1747. Provides for wife Elizabeth including 100 acres of land in Kennett where Walter Clark lived during life after her decease to my 3 daughters, viz Sarah, Mary and Lydia Levis. To son Samuel the plantation where I dwell except a part run off for son William, also stock, paying to 4 daughters Elizabeth James, Sarah, Mary and Lydia Levis £50 each. To son William 2 tracts of land in Kennett one being the west side of my plantation containing 134 acres and a piece of land with sawmill adjoining paying to 4 daughters, £10 each, remainder to 3 unmarried daughters. Executors: wife Elizabeth and sons Saml. and Wm. Witnesses: Wm. Pennock, Gabriel Clark, Elizabeth Pryor. Mentions brother Samuel Levis.
