Notes for Thomas GREGG

Thomas Gregg inherited from his father 200 acres of land on Red Clay Creek in New Castle County, Delaware, but he chose to settle at Kennett Square, Chester County, Pennsylvania. In the early years of the 1740's he bought extensive acreage in Loudoun County, Virginia, which went at his death to his eldest son Michael but which, by an exchange of deeds, was eventually divided between Michael and his brothers John, Thomas, and Stephen, all of whom settled in Loudoun County.
