315 E. Linden Street, Kennett Square. Vincent Barnard (1825-1871) was a local naturalist who came to Kennett Square to work for Samuel Pennock, and whose daughter Joanna, he married. At the time of his death he had a two acre botanical garden containing numerous rare and indigenous specimens of trees and flowers.
