Hoopes, Thomas, Jr. W. Chester. 4-16-1790. Jan. 14, 1791. Provides for wife, Sarah. To son Caleb 2 lots of land in W. Chester. To son Thomas the plantation I now live on, also lot of timber land, containing about 9 acres. To son Abner messuage, etc. purchased of John Hoopes, when 21. To daughter Margaret Hoopes £110 specie. To daughter Amy 5 shillings, having already advanced her. To 3 daughters Sarah, Lydia and Mary Hoopes £100 each at 21. £15 in trust towards building a house for religious worship for Friends in W. Chester. Remainder to daughters. Executors: Sons Caleb and Thomas.
