Notes for Mary Evans MORGAN

Mary became eminent as a minister among Friends. She was born in Radnorshire, Wales, and was educated in the Church England, but at the early age of thirteen years was convinced of the truth of the doctrines of Quakerism. When she emigrated to Pennsylvania, and united self with Friends, sad in 1722 became a minister, and subsequently traveled much in the exercise of her calling. She visited the New England colonies, and on one occasion Great
Britain and Ireland.
