Notes for Mildred Lucille MULHAIR

Millie, as she was affectionately known, was the eldest of five children born to Matt & Lucille (Bulis) Mulhair. She was a loving, loyal sibling to Dolores, Bob ("Mickey"), Patsy and Judy. Millie married Roy Robinson, Sr., during WWII before he went off to fight in the Pacific Campaign. They had two children, Roy, Jr., and Sharon. Millie went to El Camino College in Los Angeles County & became a beautician. She encouraged her children to love reading and to become excellent students. When Sharon was only 11 years old she contracted acute leukemia and passed away so quickly even Children's Hospital could do nothing to help. Millie went into a tailspin of grief, which only becoming a grandmother eased. She was a wonderful, loving and giving Grammie, mother and mother-in-law. At age 68 she found out she had terminal lung cancer. She never complained and told everyone with whom she came into contact that she should have given up smoking, for she was now living a "short, glorious life". She was loved and is missed every day!
